Not Again

I don't have much to say about tragedies while they unfold. I'm speaking of course about the deadly shooting at Virgina Tech. This is already the deadliest shooting at an American School, not that it matters, it is a tragedy if a single person is senselessly slaughtered.

Here's what the BBC has to say about it, or you can find a million other articles very quickly if you go looking so I'm not going to waste my time with a bunch of links.

There are those upset about the fact that this person was able to obtain an AK-47 and will use this to springboard a new push for gun control, and we probably need it, but not yet. We don't even know the death toll yet and people are politicizing it. And this is a blog that I like, but it needs to be said. Is it so hard to have a little patience? At least wait till after the funerals before using it as an example of the problems with the world, is that too much to ask?

Apparently it is.

UPDATE: 32 dead... WTF people? No more school shootings, please?
