Common Dreams is kickin ass this mornin'

This is the third article from Common Dreams this morning that Ive commented on. They e-mail Daily headlines and obviously some days they do quite a good job, sign up if you'd like.

But back to the article, The Government Accountablity Office, which is almost a laughable title given the administration, has released that It has spent 1.6 Billion dollars in the last two and a half years on PR, now why would the government need to spend that kind of money on PR? A whole lot of people could have been given health care for 1.6 billion dollars, that would have made for good PR. Or actually fund the No Child Left Behind bill that would have been good for Relations. You can spend all the money in the world trying to spin your misdeads into victory but it is probably more finacially viable just to try to do a little bit of good with that money and then people will like you even without the PR blitz. But we'll have to wait till '09 to show them how that works.
