The Super Bowl

I watched the part of the first half, then we realized that none of us care about football. Then prince came on... and that was about the time we stopped watching the super bowl. So thats my super bowl story.

So, do you feel about football the way I do? I never end up watching sports because I could care less which team wins.

It just makes no sense to me to care about a bunch of overpaid people that I don't know at all. People always feel so close to their favorite sports team like they are actually friends or something.

To me it is just idol worship, and they are people I really have no desire to idolize. In the end I just don't watch sports because it is boring.

Plus it upsets me how these uneducated, drug addicted, egotistical womanizers are paid millions of dollars to play a game, when we have paramedics, school teachers, firefighters, nurses and bloggers that get paid pennies in comparison.

This world is just ass backwards. We idolize all the wrong things. Anyways, what were we talking about?

the line I've been using for years is, we need to think about how much does anyone deserve when their job description starts with "I play."

Football is about the only normal sport I can stand to watch. Its slow enough that you don't really need to pay much attention to know whats going on. So it good for background TV. But at any time one really big play can change the whole game.

I really love racing, as I have said before I'm a bit of a car guy. Which is why I absolutely HATE Nascar. Nascar is extremely advanced 1960's technology. Which gets into an odd spot because I aslo hate most of the electronic aids on modern cars, they do the thinking for you, which is lame, especially when they get it wrong.

So sports in general yeah blah, don't care and yes way way way to much importance is given to those people. But I like racing as long as they turn both ways, roundy rounds are lame (except for sprint cars).

Yea, I actually got my CRA license to race street motorcycles. Never followed through because of the cost of it all. I had a race only bike (Honda F2 600cc) and everything. It's a shame I never followed through, it was one of the greatest rushes of my life.
