Movie Review
I saw most of this movie last weekend and it was one of the most ridiculous things I have ever watched. I highly recommend it if your a fan of oddball humor. Unfortunately the entire time we were watching it we never knew the title of the movie. I on the other hand will tell you the name of the movie. The Wrong Guy.

Wasn't that lead actor from Kids in the Hall or some crap. I hate that kind of humor. It is so umm... brain stem stupid humor. I don't know if that made sense, but I just do not find it funny.
Now on the other hand, I was watching Dogma this afternoon and laughing my ass off. Now that is a freakin' movie.
I don't know, I think we are losing our intelligence little by little, day by day. We just don't seem to reward the intellectuals. We keep rewarding the dumb and lowering the god damn standard so that the idiots can get through with no problem.
It should have been called no idiot left behind. I guess that is how we stumbled apon our brain dead president. He was the idiot that got through.
Damn it, now I am mad. Stupid Bush, and his *%&^%$&*^%(*%(&*^%(*
Dogma was a damn good movie, most of Kevin Smiths stuff is great. At the same time stupid humor is great, I thought Kids in the hall was hilarious, although upon immediate retrospect, I must say I don't think I've seen it since I was like 15 so maybe it is much worse than I remember.
I guess what I'm saying is do you like Monty Python? Holy Grail being a great example of stupid comedy, but not. For some reason dumb people don't get Monty Python. Anyway we've found the first spot where we disagree, comedy.
Well, I guess I may need to clearify what I meant. Let me say it this way.
I do not like the really obvious, predictable, superficial comedy. The comedy that single digit agers get. It's the equivelant of "ba da bing" when someone makes a joke then everyone looks at you like your stupid. I actually like some stupid humor, but it can't be obvious or predictable.
My favorite comedy is the stupid stuff that we deal with on a daily basis, but some genius has to point it out to us. Kind of like George Carlin. Here is one of my favorites: How about when a stewardess says to you, 'Get on the plane.' Then I say fuck you, I want to get in the plane -- less windy!
That's stupid humor, but not very obvious to normal perception. Blah blah blah, I feel like I am rambling.
Anyways, I like about 50% of Mel Brooks' stuff. I liked The Holy Grail and Space Balls.
I also like Dumb and Dumber and Ace Ventura. That was dumb, but Jim Carrey was anything but predictable or obvious -- when he first came out he wasn't, that is.
eh. you might enjoy the movie in question then. I wouldn't even bother renting it, but if its a lazy sunday and you happen to catch it, its worth a shot.
I mean I came into the movie while theres a guy in a business suit in an office, completely covered in blood carrying a knife, and trying to act nonchalant about it. I thought that was random, and funny. But to each their own, if it makes you laugh then enjoy it, if not, well find something that does.
I like everyone of the movies you just mentioned. I can't really explain why those were funny but things like Scary Movie aren't. I think part of it is the actors played as if they were serious films instead of a constant barrage of gags.
