Just in case the whole ID/ Angus Young wanna-be stuff wasn't enough to utterly discredit Ben Stein he's come back with a massive right hook and a foot straight into his mouth.
"Seventy-five-thousand people at an outdoor sports palace, well, that's something the Fuehrer would have done."
Ah yes, now Obama is a fascist. Not wanting to be out crazied host Glenn Beck followed up by saying that he has, "been saying that we're headed towards a Mussolini-style presidency forever. ... I mean it's crazy." Yeah that would be just awful to have a Mussolini style president who ignores peoples rights, starts wars, spies on citizens, and concentrates political power into a single branch of the government, that would be awful. But at least Mussolini might get the planes to run on time.
Then again these same schmucks also compared FDR to Hitler.

So... essentially... he's saying that because Obama is popular enough in Germany to draw a crowd, he's Hitler? Wow. Just... wow.
He's popular and he likes outdoor events, and obviously only fascists like out door events.
Cheney used like the outdoors too but ever since that bite to the neck he hasn't been allowed into the sun.
I also love how people use Fascist and Communist as interchangeable political insults. As pointless insults thats fine but it's important to note that ideologically they are polar opposites. Admittedly in practice they seem quite similar but Fascism is the extreme right wing of the political scale while communism is the extreme left. I'm sure these commentators know that, I'm also sure they don't care.
I hear David Hasselhoff draws big crowds in Germany. And ALL that THAT implies.
Which was always awkward while filming Knight Rider, as K.I.T.T. was a total pinko commie. The car always won the arguments but usually by resorting to, "Who's sitting in an ejection seat?"
